#4 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ali (Intercontinental Championship)
It looked like Ali was set to begin a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, following the latter's Intercontinental Championship victory over Finn Balor on the Extreme Rules Kickoff Show. They even had a match at the televised Smackville live event, with the champion retaining. After that, Ali picked up a pinfall victory over Nakamura, but the story looked to be dropped, as WWE approached SummerSlam. Then, the former 'Heart' of 205 Live entered the King of the Ring tournament. After blinders against Buddy Murphy and Elias, Ali went back to having no relevant story to sink his teeth into.
That was until Nakamura attacked him before their scheduled match on SmackDown this week. Now, it looks like WWE might be following through with this planned feud from last month. The two could have a really good match at Hell in a Cell, with plenty of shenanigans from Sami Zayn on the outside. A match between Ali and Zayn would also be sensational and could serve as a great advertisement for the incredible talent on SmackDown Live, once the show moves to FOX. Ali is a fantastic representative for the company in so many ways and WWE should really do more with him.
