John Cena Injury: derails Rumble plans, proves costly for the Undertaker at WrestleMania

Injury at the worst time

– WWE has had a torrid time with injuries recently. Superstars such as Seth Rollins, Cesaro and Randy Orton and more have been missing with long-term injuries. The latest entrant on that list is the face of the company, John Cena.

Cena dropped the title to Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series and took a long break to shoot a series. John Cena returned a few weeks back to challenge Alberto Del Rio for the US Championship but was unsuccessful. John Cena injured his right shoulder soon after and underwent a surgery.

WWE had major plans for Cena for the upcoming Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 32. Royal Rumble which is hardly a week away would have seen Cena square off with Del Rio for the US Championship which Cena was scheduled to win.

The biggest disappointment for Cena would be Wrestlemania 32 where he was set to face The Undertaker. The WWE had decided a legend vs legend match at Wrestlemania but the plans have been scrapped after Cena’s injury. The injury was so unlikely that WWE do not have any plans set for the Undertaker for Wrestlemania 32.
