WWE Live Event Houston Results: Another Lesnar beatdown, legend replaces Cena against Del Rio

Lesnar was hard put to win against Sheamus

Fans can be assured of a barnburner when you have two brutes like Brock Lesnar and Sheamus lock horns with each other. That’s exactly what happened yesterday at WWE’s Live Event in Houston, Texas.

The main event featured the former World Heavyweight Champions come out all guns blazing against each other in a violent match. The lock-up, which lasted about ten minutes, saw Sheamus’ brogue kicks leave their mark, literally, on Brock’s face.

The Beast Incarnate, being just that, needed no spur to give better than he got, as he Suplexed the Celtic Warrior more than ten times. In the end, a bloodied-up Lesnar won the contest with a thunderous F-5.

Much to fans’ delight, the other notable match saw the Human Highlight Reel, Chris Jericho, defeat Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match. The match between the two kicked off the show and fans received a refund for the first 20 minutes due to Cena’s absence.
