The latest RAW exclusive Live event took place in Rochester, New York.
Sasha Banks and Chris Jericho missed this event, which was headlined by the United States Championship match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. The results of the event are provided below:
#1 The New Day vs Enzo & Big Cass vs Sheamus & Cesaro vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson [Fatal 4 way match for the RAW Tag Team Championship]
Big E and Xavier Woods defended the titles for The New Day while Kofi was at ringside.
While the Champions and Enzo Amore received huge pops, the crowd was almost silent for The Club. It was a good back and forth match to kick-off the event. At one point, Cesaro simultaneously swung Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Big E amidst massive cheers from the audience.
In the end, The New Day delivered The Midnight Hour on Anderson and pinned him for the win.
Result: The New Day defeated Sheamus & Cesaro, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows and Enzo & Big Cass to retain the RAW Tag Team Championship
#2 Jinder Mahal vs Neville
Neville had the upper hand throughout this match. The match was short and Mahal was unable to make a comeback. The Red Arrow on Mahal helped Neville pick up the pinfall victory.
Result: Neville defeated Jinder Mahal
After the match, Mahal took a mic and stated how his defeat was a hoax. He demanded "a tougher challenge" which was answered by The Big Show.
#3 Jinder Mahal vs The Big Show
Show was welcomed with huge pops. This match was even shorter than the previous one. Mahal couldn't fight back the Big Show, who pinned him following a Chokeslam.
Result: The Big Show defeated Jinder Mahal
#4 The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth), Sin Cara and Darren Young vs Curtis Axel, Titus O’Neil and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico)
Golden Truth and Sin Cara received decent reactions from the crowd. The match was average and all of the participants were involved at one point.
Result: Darren Young, Sin Cara and The Golden Truth defeated The Shining Stars, Curtis Axel and Titus O’Neil
#5 Rusev (with Lana) vs Seth Rollins
Prior the match, Lana commented on how the Bulgarian Brute would “C-R-U-S-H” Big Cass at the upcoming Roadblock pay-per-view.
While Rusev received a lot of boos from the audience, Rollins had one of the best pops of the night. The match was enjoyable but Lana made several attempts to interfere. Towards the end, she was ejected from ringside after almost costing Rollins the match.
A Pedigree to Rusev helped Rollins to pick up the victory.
Result: Seth Rollins defeated Rusev
#6 Bayley and Alicia Fox vs Dana Brooke and Nia Jax [With Emmalina as special guest referee]
Bayley came out with some Sasha Banks merchandise and handed it out to the audience.
The match was decent, with Brooke being involved for most of the contest from her team. Emmalina was paying more attention to her nails rather than focusing on the match. At one point, she even left the ring while the women were taking down each other.
Bayley hit the Bayley-to-Belly on Brooke to pick up the win for her team.
Result: Alicia Fox and Bayley defeated Dana Brooke and Nia Jax
#7 Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman
This match lasted nearly ten minutes, where Strowman dominated Zayn.
Nonetheless, the match was decent and the audience were continuously cheering for Zayn. After the match, they applauded the performance of “The Underdog from the Underground”.
Result: Braun Strowman defeated Sami Zayn
#8 Roman Reigns(c) vs Kevin Owens [United States Championship match]
While the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens was making his entrance, he trash talked with some fans and remarked that they didn’t deserve a match of this calibre.
Roman Reigns received a mixed reaction from the crowd. The crowd was vocal throughout this amazing battle between the two Champions of the red brand. Reigns countered the Pop-up Powerbomb and delivered a Spear to Owens to pick up the win.
Result: Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens to retain the United States Championship
