Superstars of Monday Night RAW performed live in front of the WWE Universe in Portland, Maine. Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens headlined the event in a tag team match. The RAW Tag Team Champions Gallows and Anderson defended their tag titles in a three-way match against Cesaro & Sheamus, and The New Day.
The card also featured a non-title bout between Austin Aries and Neville. Zayn and Owens pulled double duty, squaring off against each other in a singles match prior to the main event, the women of RAW faced each other in a six women tag match, and much more. Thus, without any further ado here are the results from the live event in Portland, Maine.
#1 Big Cass (w/ Enzo Amore) vs. Jinder Mahal
Enzo and Cass received a huge pop from the crowd. Jinder Mahal was good. Cass successfully pinned Mahal after hitting him with a big boot.
Result: Big Cass def. Jinder Mahal
#2 Golden Truth & Curtis Axel vs. Titus O'Neil & The Shining Stars
Both Golden Truth and Curtis Axel received good reactions from the crowd. Axelmania chants broke out during the match. No pop for O'Neil and The Shining Stars. The crowd was hot for Axel by the end. Axel pinned Titus for the win after hitting him with a leg drop.
Result: Golden Truth & Curtis Axel def. Titus O'Neil & The Shining Stars
Post-match, O'Neil tried to get the crowd to chant Titusmania, but they defied him and chanted Titus Sucks. O'Neil demanded a new opponent to prove himself. Out came, Sin Cara, who defeated O'Neil in a minute after hitting him with a Swanton Bomb.
#3 Austin Aries vs. Neville (c) in a non-title match
The match was initially announced as one for the Cruiserweight Title, but Neville said that he hadn't agreed to place the title on the line, much less in Portland. Thus, it became a non-title match. Aries successfully pinned Neville after hitting him with the Discus Fivearm.
Result: Austin Aries def. Neville
#4 Gallows & Anderson (c) vs. The New Day vs. Sheamus & Cesaro for the RAW Tag Team Championship
This was a match that saw non-stop action. In the closing moments of the match, Anderson pinned Big E by using the ropes as leverage. Post-match, Cesaro hit Anderson with the giant swing. The babyfaces beat up the heels before engaging in celebratory activities.
Result: Gallows & Anderson def. The New Day and Sheamus & Cesaro
During the intermission, they tried to hype-up signed Roman Reigns posters, which were available at the arena.
#5 Bayley, Dana Brooke, and Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Alicia Fox
The crowd was super into the match. Bayley hit a Bayley-to-Belly on Charlotte for the win.
Result: Bayley, Dana Brooke, and Sasha Banks def. Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Alicia Fox.
#6 Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Owens cut a promo on Portland and Chris Jericho. Owens wore Sami's hat and danced liked him. Samoa Joe ran in and attacked Sami, thus enabling a DQ. Owens and Joe double-teamed Zayn before KO got on the mic and proclaimed that nobody could do anything about them.
The crowd started chanting for Finn Balor, but Roman's music hit. The crowd’s reaction towards Roman wasn’t exactly positive.
#7 Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe & Kevin Owens
The heels worked over Zayn before Roman got the hot-tag and speared Owens to take the win. Joe & Owens had great chemistry as team-mates.
