WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: November 28th, 2016

Charlotte puts her title on the line

The whole chaos that Survivor Series kicked off has finally settled down and WWE is back on the road to build-up their next pay-per-view. The Survivor Series fallout edition of Monday Night Raw was filled with a handful of talking points and this week is bound to be bigger.

Championships on the line, unfinished storylines and much more, make this week’s Raw a must-watch episode and in this list, we are going to take a closer look at the menu that WWE has planned for us.

#5 The Sin Cara Mask/Roman Reigns’s opponent

Rollins has a score to settle

Chris Jericho delivered an ode to Sin Cara when he showed up ringside wearing the Sin Cara mask last week. The whole mask angle helped Kevin Owens retain the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, and we are guaranteed to have a fallout of this situation. This is not the first time that Jericho has cost Rollins the title.

A feud between Rollins and Jericho looks certain at this point, and this leaves Owens in search of a new one. The rumoured battle between Owens and Roman Reigns might unfold this week on Raw, and if that is the case, we could expect some major discussions from the WWE fans.

#4 Path to the record

Out to break the record

New Day is currently en-route to become the longest reigning tag team champions. But rather than making their path easy, WWE is going to throw in some challenges for the trio. This week, New Day will go up against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, and though the duo is unlikely to dethrone New Day, we are bound to have an exciting match.

And if WWE does want to surprise the fans, they could also let New Day drop the gold. Such a move would elevate Anderson and Gallows to the top but considering that the match is happening on Raw, such a big change is unlikely.

#3 Hyping 205 Live

Swann will be under the spotlight

WWE will take a revolutionary step this week with 205 Live. The show dedicated to the cruiserweights is expected help out the division, which has been experiencing some sort of existential crisis due to an array of reasons.

The Cruiserweight title bout between Rich Swann and Brian Kendrick is expected to headline the first edition of 205 Live and WWE will be eager to hype the match on Monday night.

Swann won his opportunity at the gold last week by winning a triple threat match and as Raw is the last stop for the cruiserweights before the new show; a big angle should be included on Raw. With the excellence that he has been delivering, WWE is likely to back Kendrick to complete the mission.

#2 Stepping out of PG

Rusev has a new feud

Last week, WWE threw in an interesting segment featuring Enzo Amore and Lana. Enzo was running around the locker room with no clothes on, and for a PG product like WWE, it was something out of the limits that they usually confine themselves to.

While the Enzo Amore – Lana segment is pointing towards a feud between Rusev and Big Cass, what interests the fans is WWE’s willingness to step out of their comfort zone.

WWE did it with the Attitude Era, and when the latest episode of Raw rolls out, the fans will be eager to know whether WWE would come up with a similar segment again.

#1 Women out to steal the show again

The title match

Charlotte and Sasha Banks have set the benchmark high for the women in WWE. The historic matches that they’ve had over the past few months have changed the way we look at women’s wrestling, and the girls will be out to steal the show once again this week.

Charlotte and Sasha Banks will face off in a championship match this week, and there will be a huge chance of Nia Jax getting involved.

With the title defence coming in Charlotte’s hometown, WWE is likely to keep her strong as always, thereby reducing the chances of Sasha winning by a huge margin. No matter how it ends, the match would be worth tuning into.
