WWE Money in the Bank 2013: 5 talking points of the PPV

2. Paul Heyman turns on CM Punk

CM Punk

Well, this moment was by far the most shocking moment of the match. As Daniel Bryan and Punk were at each other, Curtis Axel entered and laid Bryan down with his finisher, only to end up taken out by a GTS from Punk.

Heyman looked livid at Axel for what he had done and cheered Punk on as he was about to get one step close to becoming the WWE Champion again.

But all that died down the next moment as Heyman entered the ring and hit Punk with a ladder and took him out for good after a huge knock on the head.

It now remains to be seen what Punk has to say about this shocking betrayal and Heyman’s answer to why he did this. As far as I see it, let’s get ready for a Punk vs Lesnar showdown on RAW tomorrow.
