Could Becky Lynch come out of Money in the Bank with both her championships?

The Money in the Bank PPV is only a few days away from us, and it's a PPV that decides the future and has a long term effect on the storylines.

This year's event features a double championship defense by the undisputed Women's Champion Becky Lynch and two Money in the Bank ladder matches for both men and women. Four other singles title matches are also lined up for the event.

Moreover, Roman Reigns faces Elias, and the Miz locks horns with the "Best in the World" Shane McMahon.

Money in the Bank has proved time and again that it's capable of joining the Big-4 PPVs. It has provided a lot of great matches and moments.

Could WWE put their creative put forward and shock the WWE Universe with some last minute swerves? Here are some of the shocking instances which could pan out at MITB

#5 Becky Lynch loses a title without getting pinned

Becky Lynch is in the middle of a dream run with both the women's championships. She is scheduled to defend both her championships on the same night against two different opponents.

After Becky won the biggest match in the history of women's wrestling in WWE, it's hard to let her drop a title on her first defense on a PPV.

Some think Becky drops the title after a cash-in which makes it three matches for "the Man" to go through in a single night. It gives a legit reason to take off the title from Becky Lynch.

But what if WWE swerves us all and presents a mid-match cash-in? Similar to Seth's victory at WrestleMania, the winner doesn't need to pin the champion. Also, Becky remains protected even after losing one of her titles.

#4 Nikki Cross wins the briefcase

As reported earlier, Alexa Bliss was pulled from the Money in the Bank ladder match as she wasn't cleared to compete in the ring. Nikki Cross was sent in as her replacement.

It was exciting to see the new pairing between Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss on last RAW. Alexa might become the route for Nikki Cross to achieve greater heights on the main roster.

There aren't many strong contenders in the women's line up for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Bayley, Naomi, and Ember Moon's stocks aren't high enough. Natalya and Dana Brooke are an afterthought. Only Mandy Rose is credible enough to win the briefcase and continue her program with Sonya Deville.

Nikki Cross would be a similar choice to win the match as her last-minute entry would give her an edge.

Nikki's character still has a sense of urgency, which is perfect for a quick cash-in, as discussed in the previous slide.

#3 Samoa Joe squashes Rey Mysterio again

Rey Mysterio faced Samoa Joe at WrestleMania for the United States Championship, but due to time constraints, the match didn't get an adequate amount of time.

Rey again scored a pin-fall over Samoa Joe and earned his shot at the title at Money in the Bank. Rey's son Dominic may have also signed a contract with WWE, and is expected to be present alongside Mysterio.

Samoa Joe could use Dominic to his advantage as a distraction for Rey Mysterio. He could attack Dominic and choke him out to create a diversion for Rey.

This diversion gives him a chance to finish a distracted Mysterio in a matter of minutes quickly.

#2 Brock Lesnar shows up

Given Brock Lesnar's schedule, it's highly unlikely that he appears before the Saudi Arabia event next month, but that's what makes it a shock when he shows up at Money in the Bank.

Brock is rumored to face either Seth Rollins alone or both Rollins and AJ Styles for the WWE Universal Championship.

If the latter is true, Brock might interfere in the match and lay out both of them. It would give him a proper reason to get back into the title picture.

#1 Buddy Murphy takes out Ali backstage

Buddy Murphy was the cornerstone of 205 Live during his entire championship reign. He carried the purple brand on his shoulders and gave quality matches during his run.

Murphy got promoted to SmackDown but didn't make it to TV. He pushed a future feud with Ali and called him out to rekindle their feud from the cruiserweight show. What if they start their feud at Money in the Bank itself?

Murphy could take out Ali backstage, which prevents him from competing in the ladder match. He could take his place in the match from SmackDown's side.

Buddy Murphy is known as the "WWE's Best-Kept Secret," and he gets to prove it in the match.

WWE could even go a step further and crown him the winner. He would be a worthy champion with his overall skills whenever he would decide to cash in the contract.
