The former Universal champion is back on SmackDown Live and he has been doing well, in making a name of himself since his return from an injury. KO has been on the top heels on the show, as he attacked the New Day and is now going to take on Kofi Kingston. With Sami Zayn back in his corner too and the duo looking strong yet again, it seems that Owens could be getting a push soon enough as well.
He could be the next-in-line to be the champion and this could happen at the upcoming pay-per-view, where Kofi gets realistically screwed. This would mean that the audience would have received their Wrestlemania moment and could now be in for a shock, which would go viral and the fans would be talking about. It would also possibly be the end of “Kofimania” and as some have suggested, could be very well, the start of the end of the New Day as well. However, how true these stories are, only time will tell.
