WWE News: Big E explains why the feud with Wyatt Family is different for New Day

It looks like the jokes are over for the New Day

Ever since New Day interrupted Bray Wyat and his family during their return to Raw a few weeks ago, the patriarch of the Wyatt Family has targetted the entertaining trio in WWE programming. New Day’s enthusiastic shenanigans have fallen short in the face of the enigmatic New Face of Fear’s mic work and the feud is rapidly becoming a talking point among the WWE fans.

Recently, New Day’s Big E was interviewed by The Rappler Podcast to promote the upcoming WWE tour in Manila during September. Big E revealed in the podcast why the feud with the Wyatts is different for New Day.

"I think it's a stark contrast from the feuds that we've had in the past, which tended to be based around physicality. There isn't often times a lot more depth – one of the things we like is that in a different way that we would go back and forth with Enzo and Cass, which is more just cracking jokes back and forth. Obviously we're still gonna be us, but I think with Bray, and the way he controls the mic and – is you know, one of the better talkers of our generation. I think it definitely adds a different challenge for us, and a new wrinkle. I think this program is just going to show a different side of both teams and feel fresh."

Big E also talked about his video game exploits with Xavier Woods, how New Day cracks each other while discussing ideas, going to Manila and more. Remembering the time he hit AJ Lee accidentally on Monday night Raw, Big E told that it was the frightening moment of his career and he was naturally worried for her safety.
