What's the story?

One of the shock results of TLC 2018 was Finn Balor's victory over Drew McIntyre, considering how the former has slowly gone down the card, while the latter has been pushed strongly over the last month or so.

Balor picked up the victory following interference from McIntyre's former partner Dolph Ziggler, but a bust-up backstage has resulted in a match for this week's RAW.

In case you didn't know...

Balor and McIntyre began their feud last month when the Scottish Psychopath turned on Balor, attacking him. McIntyre has brutalised and assaulted several RAW Superstars over the last month or so, including the likes of Braun Strowman, Elias, and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

His former tag team partner Dolph Ziggler, gave McIntyre his first loss on the main roster following which he too was assaulted by the Scottish Superstar.

The heart of the matter

WWE have announced a match between Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor for the RAW after TLC, following Ziggler's assault on Balor backstage.

At TLC, Balor and McIntyre put on an exciting match with back and forth action, and the match came to a conclusion when Dolph Ziggler made an appearance, and landed a Superkick on McIntyre. He tried to hit McIntyre with a steel chair but was a kicked into the chair by the Scottish star.

The distraction by Ziggler helped Balor get the win, but the Irishman wasn't happy with Ziggler's interference, saying that he could do it himself, which resulted in the two Superstars coming to blows, backstage.

What's next?

This week's RAW comes to us from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, and the big headline is the return of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
