What's the story?

Former WWE Universal Champion, Finn Balor recently posted a cryptic tweet featuring former WWE World Champion and All Elite Wrestling's hottest acquisition, Chris Jericho.

However, as it turns out, the series of cryptic tweets from 'The Demon King' continued, as he posted yet another photo of himself with another top AEW star.

In case you didn't know...

On 1st January 2019, former Bullet Club members Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks officially unveiled their own wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling, as the Elite trio announced their partnership with The Khan Family.

Partnering up with the likes of Shahid Khan and Tony Khan, AEW officially managed to sign the likes of Chris Jericho, Jimmy Havoc, Britt Baker, and current Dragon Gate star, Pac, who was officially revealed in the first batch of AEW signees.

The heart of the matter

Since the inauguration of the promotion, AEW has been signing some of the top talents from all around the globe and the likes of The Young Bucks, Cody, and Hangman Page have been scouting all over the Independent scene in order to recruit more stars for their promotion.

AEW has reportedly been interested in signing a top WWE superstar and former Universal Champion, Finn Balor has been posting a series of cryptic tweets in regard of him potentially being the one top star who could jump ship from WWE to AEW.

After having posted a photo with Chris Jericho recently, Balor has now taken it to social media in order to post yet another photo with AEW star Pac.

What's next?

Pac, formerly known as Neville, has been good friends with Finn Balor for years now. The two men previously competed in Japan before making their way to NXT and eventually to the main roster.

However, in 2018, Pac was eventually let go of his WWE contract and made his return to Dragon Gate where he is currently the Open The Dream Gate Champion. Pac also signed a deal with AEW in 2019.

Could Finn Balor be following the footsteps of Pac? Or is he just trolling with us? Only time will tell us.
