What's the story?

WWE Superstar and former Diva's Champion Paige took to social media to voice her displeasure to wrestling fans who once criticized the way women's wrestling used to be in comparison to the positive changes we see today.

In case you didn't know...

Paige is currently retired from the wrestling business after suffering a severe neck injury at a WWE Live Event in December 2017.

After retiring from the ring, she became the new SmackDown Live General Manager and was very successful in her job.

However, she was removed from her position by the McMahon family after the McMahons felt it was time to make a change to the WWE programming and completely remove the "General Manager" position entirely from both brands.

Since then, Paige has not been featured on WWE television but has made sporadic appearances to promote her new movie and to be a guest analyst of WWE kickoff show events.

The heart of the matter

Paige released an interesting tweet where she opened up about the changes in women's wrestling today in comparison to how their style of wrestling used to be a few years ago.

In this tweet, she openly criticizes wrestling fans for all the negativity of the past that led to the positive changes that we are seeing today in the women's revolution.

What's next?

Paige is currently promoting her new movie based on her life growing up in the wrestling business and her journey through the WWE titled: "Fighting with my Family," which also co-stars and is produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The film will be released to theatres starting on February 22th.
