WWE Battleground is on the horizon and the fans are expecting something big from the WWE. But, what can be bigger than another huge match for the upcoming event?
The long lasting rivalry between former friends turned foes Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will come to an end as they battle it out for the final time at WWE Battleground. The two have been fighting back and forth to prove that one is better than the other, and hopefully, a good conclusion will be drawn to this rivalry.
On this week’s Raw, Zayn challenged Owens for a match at WWE Battleground when they met each other face to face during Jericho’s Highlight Reel. Zayn accused Owens of resenting him due to jealousy, but Owens rebuffed his comments and stated that it was purely business motives from his standpoint. Nevertheless, he agreed to the match at WWE Battleground.
As of now, the Shield Triple Threat is the only other match that has been announced for the event. Surely, both of these matches would steal the show at Battleground as we can’t expect anything less from the trio or Zayn and Owens.
