What's the story?

It's the Kevin Owens show in the pro wrestling news world! While this may not qualify as news compared to the other stories we cover, it's just too awesome to not mention.

The Prizefighter didn't just look leaner upon on his return this week on SmackDown but was also sporting a new set of tattoos on his right arm. A fan asked Owens about why he got a Panda and a Monkey inked on his arm, to which the former Universal Champion replied in a simple yet hilarious fashion.

In case you didn't know...

Owens made his comeback to WWE TV on the latest episode of SmackDown and was straight away included into the WWE Championship picture. He would end up replacing Kofi Kingston at Fastlane for the WWE title match.

The returning star would later on team up with the New Day member in a tag team contest against Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan. Owens would surprise the fans even further as he would pick up the victory for his team, courtesy of a Stunner on the WWE Champion.

It's being reported that Owens has indeed changed his finisher and has been allowed to use Stone Cold Steve Austin's iconic finisher instead of the Pop-up Powerbomb.

The set of tattoos, his character and the finisher - everything is new about Owens and we're loving it.

The heart of the matter

It's a known fact that every WWE Superstar has to get the required permissions from the management before getting inked. To avoid the hassels, Owens got a bunch of tattoos done in one sitting after getting the necessary approval.

Out of all the things Owens could have gotten printed on his body, the former NXT Champion chose a Panda and a Monkey. Here's why...

KO is just a fan of animals; it's as simple as that!

What's next?

Owens' fine beginning as a babyface is expected to continue smoothly as he will take on Daniel Bryan at the upcoming Fastlane PPV on March 10, 2019.

It would be intriguing to see how WWE uses Kofi Kingston in the coming weeks, who would deservedly get a big moment in the on-going storyline. For now, let's enjoy the gift of Owens!
