Former WWE and TNA star Kurt Angle was the recent guest on the Reality Of Wrestling show in Texas City, TX. During the interview, the former World Champion talked about the rumors of his WWE return and gave some interesting insights regarding his status with the company.

Talking about a possible return, Angle said that he would return if he gets the right opportunity on the right show. He also revealed that he talked with the WWE Officials a few months ago and they showed interest in bringing Angle back. He said:

“For me to go back it would have to be the right match – the right program. Also, you would have to have interest from Triple H and Vince McMahon. I spoke with them a few months ago [and] they do have interest [and] they just don’t know what they wanna do and they don’t know when.”

Although the former WWE star continued by saying that he has not talked to the officials since that last conversation and fans should not expect to see him in a WWE ring anytime soon:

"I haven’t talked to anybody in the last few months. I don’t expect to until late fall. You’re not gonna see Kurt Angle in that ring this year. Maybe next year, maybe not at all. It was more of a loose conversation. They have interest [and] I have interest but [the talks] didn’t really go anywhere so right now I’m enjoying my time off.”

While talking about his WrestleMania dream match the former World Champion said that he wanted to wrestle Daniel Bryan but since he is retired now, he showed interest in wrestling Seth Rollins while also mentioning the likes of Cesaro, Kevin Owens, and Roman Reigns;

"I wanted Daniel bryan....but I don't think he is able to go anymore. I'd say right now on that roster Seth Rollins. god I watch out he is what he does his style with his ability in the ring right now he's one of the best in the world and there are other wrestlers I like the rest of my crew Cesaro Kevin Owens Roman reigns right now I think "

Along with this Angle also praised the in-ring skills of his fellow TNA veteran AJ Styles and claimed that he enjoyed his time in both WWE and TNA and has no regrets.
