What's the story?

Matt Hardy uploaded a new video on Twitter revealing which 'entity' he was inside his 'vessel' today, classic Matt Hardy stuff. However, the big takeaway is that Hardy has made use of his time away from WWE to get in what looks to be the best shape he's been in for years!

In case you didn't know...

It was believed that Matt Hardy had retired in September of last year after he announced he had wrestled his last match for the company. At the time Hardy was suffering from a hip injury that required surgery.

However, he later took to Twitter to confirm he hadn't retired but was just taking a break from wrestling. He also told us he was in the best shape he's been in ages.

Spoilers, he wasn't lying.

The heart of the matter

In case anyone had forgotten this is what Matt Hardy used to look like before he took some time off from in-ring competition. He certainly wasn't out of shape, but when you see the below newer tweet I'm sure you'll agree he's undergone quite the transformation!

But in his latest Twitter video he looks like he's lost quite a lot of weight, and when he doesn't have the wild facial hair or classic 'woken' frizzy mop he looks literally about ten years younger.

What's next?

What's next for Matt Hardy? Well, he has to return first. You want to know if he returns as 'Woken' Matt Hardy, or normal Matt Hardy? Well, if you want a clue as to what Hardy has planned for us all I reckon looking at his Twitter thumbnail might be a good place to start.

It seems we might be treated to a split personality version of Matt Hardy where one day he's good ol' normal Matt Hardy, another day he's Woken Matt Hardy and then another day he's Version 1 Matt Hardy. What a time to be alive!
