What’s the story?

Matt Hardy has taken to social media, hyping his feud with Bray Wyatt.

In a series of Tweets by way of his official Twitter handle, Hardy asserted that he’s familiar with the Demon known as Sister Abigail. Besides, ‘Woken Matt’ also spouted a few other gems of his Woken Wisdom and Broken Brilliance—

In case you didn’t know…

Matt Hardy’s ‘Broken’ gimmick was one of the most talked about storylines/acts in the professional wrestling business last year.

However, the primary promotion where the Broken gimmick was first performed and introduced to the pro-wrestling world—Impact Wrestling—had been involved in a legal battle with the Hardy family over the intellectual property rights of the Broken gimmick.

The heart of the matter

Nevertheless, the vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that the Hardys and Impact Wrestling parent-company Anthem have reached a settlement, legally permitting Matt to bring his Broken act to the WWE, where he’s being referred to as ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy.

Addressing his statements towards Bray Wyatt, with whom he’s been feuding over the past couple of weeks, Woken Matt asserted that he only sees Wyatt’s soul and the latter’s vessel (body) is inconsequential.

Furthermore, upon being probed by a fan as to whether the pro-wrestling world could get to finally learn and see Sister Abigail’s back-story, Matt claimed to know the Demon Sister Abigail; emphasizing that Abigail has bonded into Wyatt and transformed him into a monster. Matt added that he’ll up the ante of their rivalry next week.

Additionally, Woken Matt also spoke of being a sacred cow in India 300 years ago, and that the ‘Deletion’ process has been put in motion; alluding that this feud won’t end until it’s ‘Ovah’.

What’s next?

Fans can expect ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt to continue their rivalry in the weeks to come on Monday Night RAW.

As noted by Woken Matt himself, the feud is likely to reach a crescendo next week on RAW.
