In the past few days, the mystery behind Paige’s arrest has reached a high point. A fan at the scene leaked a few photos of a handcuffed Paige being led by police. As this incident happened right after the Money in the Bank PPV, people were curious as to the nature of the incident. Later, the mystery intensified when she appeared at Raw on the following night and wrestled Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship.
On the latest episode of MLW Radio with Court Bauer, Mister Saint Laurent and Konnan, a good friend of Alberto Del Rio, discussed the recent incidents involving Paige and the former WWE Champion over the weekend in Las Vegas.
Wrestlinginc.com reports that after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, Paige and Del Rio went to watch the Absinthe show in Las Vegas. While the two were there, a drunk couple apparently started to heckle the couple. They even called them "fake wrestlers" and some other things of that nature. Bauer said that this resulted in an argument and eventually Paige was "accosted."
Shortly, police arrived on the scene and stabilized the situation. It included a routine of handcuffing all the peoples who were involved. They then took Paige to an ambulance to make sure that there was nothing wrong with her. She was detected to be fine, and after that, both of them were free to go. It is clear that there was no drunkenness, domestic dispute or jaywalking issues at all.
