WWE superstar Paige has just proposed to her boyfriend and the former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio at a wrestling event in Puerto Rico.
WWC ANIVERSARIO 43, a wrestling event in Puerto Rico where Alberto Del Rio was making an appearance, saw Paige bend a knee and propose to Alberto for marriage. The couple is now engaged to be married as Alberto Del Rio accepted Paige’s proposal, which was followed by an embrace in front of cheering fans.

The proposal happened after Alberto Del Rio wrestled a match (as Alberto El Patron) against another former WWE superstar Carlito. Paige couldn’t have picked a more suitable venue for the proposal as it was done right in the middle of the squared circle.
The two have been an inseparable couple ever since they started dating since the past few months and have stuck with each other through the tumultuous times that have been taking a toll on both of their careers recently.
While Del Rio is no longer working with the WWE, Paige has been amidst a lot of controversy surrounding her status in the company as well. Her second wellness policy violation has been a topic of discussion recently, with the superstar and her family taking to social media to clear her name and sledging allegations at the WWE.
The superstar is also struggling with health issues as she is currently out of action with a neck injury and could be out for another year to recover, following her surgical procedure.
The couple started dating while both of them were still employed by the WWE and there were reports that the company was unhappy with their relationship. It was rumoured that there were attempts made by the WWE to discourage the two from dating each other, but love triumphs above all in the end!
Del Rio also shares a very good rapport with Paige’s family and has made an appearance for her father’s wrestling promotion in the UK as well.
