What's the story?
As reported by E! Online, WWE Superstar Paige was extremely upset upon hearing the news of her suspension from the company due to a supposed wellness policy violation. The footage was broadcast on the latest episode of the hit TV series Total Divas this past Wednesday.
In case you didn't know...
The former Divas Champion has been through a series of issues over the last few months, and it appears as if Total Divas is finally catching up with all of that drama. Including her suspension, Paige was the victim of a leak a few weeks ago.
The heart of the matter
The following are quotes courtesy of Paige from the aforementioned episode.
"WWE posted a statement about me failing the wellness policy. We get drug tested all the time…first of all, I don't do drugs. Second of all, I did the test and I passed it. They're only suspending me because I didn't take it in the allotted time that they gave me."
What's next?
As we all know Paige is currently injured and waiting to return to WWE television, but we still can't be sure whether or not that'll actually happen after all of the off-screen issues she's encountered.
It seems likely that this storyline will continue to develop on Total Divas, but we shouldn't expect to see too much of Alberto Del Rio who has of course been released by the company.

It's a shame that WWE decided to air this footage considering how much Paige has already been affected by everything that's happened, but it could turn out to be quite a good Road to Redemption story for the Norwich-born Superstar. Who knows, perhaps she'll even get back into the title picture one day on either Raw or SmackDown Live.
