#3. Gable Steveson says he will be at WrestleMania 38
It looks like Gable Steveson will be heading straight to WrestleMania after he's finished his education. The Olympic gold medalist's time in college is set to end in March, and he may immediately debut for WWE , as he mentioned to Darren Wolfson of KSTP Sports:
"Right when March ends, I’m picking it up," Gable Steveson said. "I think I’m, I’ll probably head to WrestleMania and do some — I don’t know what from there, but you’ll see. It just picks up again, there’s no break."
Steveson is a member of the RAW roster, although he's only appeared in the crowd since being drafted to the red brand. Based on his comments, the star athlete seems likely to show up at WrestleMania, after which he can truly kick off his pro wrestling career.
#2. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg calls out CNN for a major identity botch
Goldberg called out CNN for mistakenly using images of him while reporting on a story involving Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two WWE legends have been confused for each other multiple times in the past, as they both sport bald heads and goatees.
The two-time Universal Champion was not happy about this and called the news channel out for misinformation on Instagram. Goldberg did maintain some humor and tagged Austin in his post, issuing a playful challenge to the Texas Rattlesnake.
