There has been considerable controversy over Nia Jax's release, as reports suggest that she was fired for being unvaccinated.

The former RAW Women's Champion released a statement following her WWE departure and revealed her side of the story. Jax was on a mental health break from the WWE and was initially scheduled to return within the next few weeks. While Jax requested an extension of her leave, the superstar didn't foresee getting an email about her release.

Jax stated that she was not informed about her vaccination status by the WWE and the company's decision caught her off guard.

The Samoan superstar has received a lot of support since she broke her silence, as many fans feel the WWE wronged her. You can read her complete statement below:

Keith Lee's situation continues to get complicated as more details of his backstage standing have been revealed following his abrupt departure.

Wade Keller reported on PWTorch's VIP Ad-free audio show that Keith Lee had 'perceived attitude issues' in the WWE. It was noted that people who previously backed the former NXT Champion had also gotten frustrated as time progressed.

"Keith Lee, I have chronicled for months and months and months and months and months, was somebody that even people that were rooting for him behind the scenes, became frustrated with him. He just had, in general, attitude issues. Or, as one wrestler told me tonight, "perceived attitude issues," edging a little bit, others have said outright...attitude problems," reported Wade Keller.

Additionally, Keith Lee was very frustrated behind the scenes and allegedly had problems being 'asked to do a job.'

"He just was frustrated. I've heard different things about him in terms of his mood being altered way more than it should in the modern era, about being asked to do a job," Keller added about Keith Lee.

Despite enjoying a series of highlight-reel moments in the WWE, Keith Lee experienced a forgettable spell on the main roster, and he will be hoping to bounce back stronger once his non-compete clause ends.
