What's the story?

One-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins, recently conducted a live Q&A through his Instagram account, in which he claimed that Sasha Banks's one of the best wrestlers of all time.

In case you didn't know...

Both Rollins and Sasha share a camaraderie, due to both of them being former NXT Superstars, with the sole difference being that Rollins started working for the WWE two years before Banks did. When Sasha joined NXT, Rollins was almost on his way out onto the main roster.

However, the two have reignited their friendship on the main roster by cameoing in each others Instagram videos. In some videos, Sasha and Bayley competed with each other to see who Seth liked the most.

The heart of the matter

Upon being asked to define his relationship with Sasha Banks, Rollins answered that she's his good friend, a hell of an athlete, and one of the best wrestlers of all time.

"My relationship with Sasha Banks is that she's a good friend, hell of an athlete, and one of the best women's wrestlers of all time."

However, Rollins quickly rephrased his statement by saying that Banks' not just the best women's wrestler, but that she's the best wrestler of all time.

Best wrestler of all time really, don't have to put 'women' in front of it."

What's next?

Seth Rollins and his Shield teammate Dean Ambrose will face the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, at next month's Survivor Series PPV. Ambrose and Rollins are also currently feuding with The Miz and Sheamus and Cesaro.

On the other hand, this past week on RAW, Sasha Banks lost a Triple Threat Match to become the leader of the red brand's women's team for Survivor Series.

Author's Take

It's great to see Seth, who's a wonderful performer himself, give a vote of confidence to Sasha Banks.

Banks, who came up through NXT with a lot of fanfare has lost quite a lot of steam due to convoluted booking decisions. If rectified, Banks could probably once again be one of the hottest acts in the company.
