WWE News: Triple H comments on joining The Shield at WWE Glasgow
What’s the story?
14-time WWE World Champion Triple H kicked off the WWE UK tour earlier today in Glasgow, Scotland when he teamed up with current Raw Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and represented The Shield on the night.
Following his victorious start to the tour, Triple H took to the social media and thanked the WWE Universe in Glasgow, as well as Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
In case you didn’t know…
Former WWE World Champion Triple H recently made his in-ring return at a house show in Santiago, Chile, which was the first time “The Game” stepped into a WWE ring since Wrestlemania 33.
After making his return to the ring earlier this week, Triple H went on to reveal that he is all set to take part in WWE’s recent UK tour. “The Game” said that he was going wrestle in front of the Scotland and England crowd when WWE visits Brighton, London, Minehead, and Cardiff later this month.
The heart of the matter
Earlier today, Triple H kick-started his WWE UK tour in Glasgow as he teamed up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose and became an honorary member of The Shield on the night—stepping in for “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns. The Shield eventually went on to defeat the trio of Cesaro, Sheamus, and a returning Bray Wyatt.
After the event, “The King of Kings” showed his gratitude towards the Glasgow crowd and Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
Triple H tweeted out by saying thank you to everyone who was present in the Scottish city and also thanked Rollins and Ambrose for giving him The Shield vest.
Triple H will continue his WWE UK tour later tonight, when WWE heads to Brighton, England. He and the rest of the WWE crew will also wrestle in the UK for the rest of the week.
Personally, it was really a great moment for me to see Triple H stepping in for Roman Reigns and also putting on The Shield vest to wrestle on the night.
