Paige is backstage ahead of Monday Night RAW

What’s the story?

Paige is reportedly backstage at tonight’s venue for Monday Night RAW.

Nevertheless, it’s unclear as to whether or not she’ll compete on tonight’s episode of RAW.

In case you didn’t know…

As we’d previously reported, Paige suffered a stinger at a RAW-branded live event on December 27th.

In the midst of a 6-Woman Tag Team Match, Sasha Banks hit Paige with a stiff kick, following which the WWE has benched the latter for precautionary reasons.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that Paige did appear ringside for her Absolution stable-mates’ matches at ensuing WWE house shows, which saw Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville compete against the teams of Sasha Banks & Bayley, and Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax in a Triple Threat Tag Team match.

Paige has reportedly been spotted at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee ahead of tonight’s RAW tapings that will take place at the venue.

Furthermore, while Paige didn’t compete on last week’s RAW either, she and her stable-mates did appear in a pre-taped promo on the show. The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Paige is likely to recover and be eligible to compete in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match later this month.

What’s next?

The historic All-Women’s Royal Rumble match will take place at the Royal Rumble PPV that is set to air from the Wells Fargo centre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 28th.

Meanwhile, fans could likely see Paige in a non-wrestling capacity on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW (January 8th, 2018) that airs from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.

Author’s take

Paige is such a unique talent, in the sense that not only does she possess immaculate in-ring skills, but also thrives on her gift of gab.

To paraphrase boxing great Muhammad Ali—She floats like a butterfly in the ring and stings like a bee on the mic. Here’s hoping the Anti-Diva recovers from the stinger and goes on to win the Royal Rumble.
