In a recent interview with Memorabilia Guy, Zak Knight spoke about his sister Paige’s future, her relationship with Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron and much more.
In case you didn’t know...
Zak Knight (real name – Zak Bevis) presently wrestles under another alias Zak Zodiac for his parents’ professional wrestling promotion World Association of Wrestling (WAW).
Zak previously had a tryout with the WWE in 2012 at a London event that he attended with his sister Paige (Saraya Jade-Bevis), with Paige being hired by the company but Zak falling short in his bid to become a WWE Superstar.
The heart of the matter
The 26-year-old Englishman spoke on a myriad of issues including his sister’s future, Alberto El Patron, the WWE’s upcoming biopic on Paige and the Knight family, working with Scott Hall and more.
“Yeah, 100%. People love buying into true stories. Obviously, to start with, the family was unsure about what was going on between Paige and Alberto. Everyone can blame Alberto for what’s happening at the moment but she’s a 24-year-old girl that made fame at 18 and she’s got a horrific injury and we don’t know what’s going to happen next. This could be the end of Paige or it could be the big fight-back story.”
“We don’t know yet, but the fact that Alberto and Paige are now coming into WAW is huge for us. She’s now giving out pointers and Alberto is the same, he’s great. He comes over and is willing to do anything. The guy has been to the top and he’s listening to my storylines and my plots. We get inundated with emails from top stars every day saying ‘can we come and work for WAW’. That is an achievement and honour.”
Furthermore, Zak praised Scott Hall for his contribution to the WAW promotion, lauding the pro-wrestling icon for his professionalism and work ethic behind the scenes.
The 6’1” British prospect also noted that the upcoming movie based on the life and career of Paige and their family, that is being helmed by Stephen Merchant and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will depict the ups-and-downs of their professional wrestling organisation WAW besides focusing on his sister’s time with the WWE.
What’s next?
Zak currently wrestles for WAW as Zak Zodiac. Meanwhile, Paige is recovering from a neck injury that has kept her out of action since August of last year.

Zak Knight failed to meet the WWE’s standards five years ago, however, the young Brit has improved leaps-and-bounds since then. We wish Zak and Paige nothing but the best and hope to see the siblings inside a WWE ring in the near future.
