Dakota Kai vs Jessi Kamea on NXT

Dakota Kai laid out Jessi Kamea immediately. The No.1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship battered Kamea with big kicks, hammering her with two running face washes in the corner.

Kamea escaped a straight jacket, though, and rolled up Kai for two. A rolling heel kick stunned Kai, and Kamea followed up with a leaping forearm and sliding knee strike. However, she wasn't able to keep that up for long. Kai rocked her with the Go To Kick.

Results: Dakota Kai defeated Jessi Kamea via pinfall on NXT.

Grade: C-

After the match, Kai tried to call out the NXT Women's Champion, forcing Io Shirai to rush the ring. Though Shirai had Kai on the ropes, the Captain of Team Kick was saved by Raquel Gonzalez.

In the ring, Gonzalez planted Shirai with a pumphandle powerbomb.

Backstage, Tegan Nox was asked about Candace Lerae's comments from last week. Nox said that they'd been friends for years, and there are ups and downs in friendships. Nox said that she was ready to talk to LeRae at anytime.
