Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross began the action after the bell rang. She slammed Nikki’s face against the turnbuckles with her knees. Soon, Nikki tagged Alexander Wolfe in, which meant Ruby had to tag out. Kassius Ohno then came in, knocking out Wolfe instantly. He then proceeded to knock out Eric Young.

After getting some offence in on Wolfe, the SAnitY member was able to tag Eric Young in. Wolfe and Young began taking turns on Ohno. Ohno soon tagged Roderick Strong in. Strong had gotten his strikes in but was met with a suplex from Wolfe after distraction. This led to Wolfe tagging in Killian Dain, who splashed and manhandled Strong.

Eric Young took advantage to weaken Roderick and nearly got the pin until Tye Dillinger broke up the pin. Dillinger ended up being the hot pin, taking everyone out. Every strike was met with a "TEN" chant.

At one point, Roderick Strong went head to head with Killian Dain, only to be met with Nikki Cross on his back. This led to Ruby Riot doing the same. She played the equaliser, and the two women eventually went at each other. Strong was pulled from under and taken out by Eric Young, while Ruby Riot took out Nikki Cross with a drop kick outside.

Tye Dillinger attempted the Tye Breaker on Dain but was met with a superkick by Wolfe. Dain hit the Ulster Plantation on Dillinger, picking up the win for SAnitY

The two worked a fast paced stiff style, both showing off their own flashy offence. Aleister had an influence of Indonesian martial arts in his artillery, using it to counter the fast pace Lucha Libre style. However, Black showed off his own high flying abilities. Using the ropes for a backflip to the outside. Inside the ring again, Andrade used submission manoeuvres such as the Fujiwara armbar.

Following this, Almas got the better of Black, though one spot saw them knock each other out with kicks simultaneously. Andrade landed the running knees on Black and tried to finish him the hammerlock DDT, but Black broke free, only to be met with a suplex. However, it wasn’t enough to finish him.

Authors of Pain(c) vs The Revival vs #DIY – Triple Threat Tag Team Elimination Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship

DIY and The Revival were forced to form an alliance to try to take out the champions

The New NXT Tag Team Championships were presented before the match.

The new NXT Tag Team Championships

As the three teams stood head to head, DIY and The Revival both turned towards the Authors of Pain and teamed to take the champions out.

DIY then took out a table and went after Akom, who was attempting to get the former champions down. After DIY and Revival took out Akom and Rezar respectively, they went at it inside the ring. As the two teams went at each other, the Authors of Pain got back in the ring and took out Dash Wilder and Tomasso Ciampa.

Revival made sure to stay outside the ring for a short while but came right back in as they took Ciampa out of the ring and hit Rezar with a DDT. As AOP was taken out, Johnny Gargano returned to the ring with a spear on Scott Dawson. As he was on the ring apron, he and Ciampa took out the Revival. This followed up with Gargano hitting a flying DDT on Dawson. This was met with huge “Johnny Wrestling” chants.

It didn’t take long for AOP to make their dominance felt as they took Gargano and slammed him against Ciampa, who was attempting a suicide dive. Inside the ring, AOP was rag dolling Gargano. Gargano tried to free himself to get to Ciampa, eventually successfully getting the tag. Ciampa played the hot tag, but it took a lot of effort to get them down but did eventually do so with a snap suplex, followed by another suplex and then a knee strike.

Ciampa attempted to powerbomb Rezar outside to the table, but he clung on. Gargano joined but he still didn’t budge. The Revival finally came in and struck him, leading to him getting power bombed through a table.

Back inside the ring, Akom was steamrolling through the four competitors, but Dawson got a submission hold on Akom’s legs. Gargano was about to break it up but realised the situation he was in. He then applied his own submission hold, but Rezar came in and broke the submission despite attempts from Wilder and Ciampa to hold him back.

The four competitors worked together, and a spot came where Wilder and Gargano did the double superkick on Akom, while Rezar was met with a shatter machine by Dawson and Ciampa.

The alliance seemed too good to be true, and it turned out that way as the two teams who didn’t see eye to eye began to brawl. It didn’t take long for the alliance to get back as Dawson and Gargano hit a suicide dive to AOP outside. As the action was outside, Dawson suplexed Ciampa from the top turnbuckle onto all the competitors outside.

Back in the ring, AOP finished Ciampa with The Last Chapter to eliminate DIY

The Revival had a struggle against the champions but got the better of them with a series of suplexes. Despite getting the better of them for a time, AOP still bulldozed The Revival. They attempted the last chapter on Dawson, only to be struck by Dash, who was then met with a clothesline.

AOP then hit power bomb on both members of The Revival. Rezar had Dawson in the ring, while Wilder was outside the ring with Akom. The Revival had two attempts at pinning AoP but failed. AOP finished the match after hitting the double powerbombs on The Revival.

Ember Moon was in a position to hit The Eclipse but failed to do so. Asuka followed up with a series of kicks to Ember’s chest. Asuka again attempted an Asuka lock, but Ember got up. However, since Asuka never released the lock, she locked her legs, and Ember was fading, but she was relentless, slamming Asuka on her back.

Ember countered the hip attack from Asuka with a superkick. Ember Moon began getting the better of Asuka, but that was until Ember Moon attempted a springboard, only to be caught and hit with a brutal suplex from the champion.

Nakamura got Roode onto the top turnbuckles and struck him with a knee to the midsection, but Nakamura then sold hurting his knee. In the ring, Bobby Roode countered Nakamura’s strike into a back breaker. Nakamura still kicked out.

Roode attempted a Glorious DDT, but Nakamura countered it into a DDT of his own, and hit a Kinshasa with less power, with Roode kicking out. As Nakamura looked to finish things, Roode slid out of the ring. Nakamura then put him back in the ring and hit the rope against his knee, followed by a Glorious DDT. This time, Nakamura kicked out.

Outside the ring, Roode got the timekeeper’s bell and came inside. The referee then snatched the bell away, threatening to disqualify Roode. As he turned around, he was met with a kick from Nakamura. As Nakamura went for a Kinshasa, he was met with a spine buster.
