Survivor Series weekend is finally upon us and it all starts with NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019 where history will be made as Team Ripley and Team Baszler will lock horns in the first-ever Women's WarGames match.
The NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler, will be leading the team of Bianca Belair, Io Shirai and NXT UK Women's Champion, Kay Lee Ray against Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Mia Yim and Tegan Nox.
The animosity between these eight women reached a new height when Lee Ray helped Io Shirai gain the advantage for the match by pushing Yim off the ladder and crashing through another one.
In what could be the potential main event of the night, which team will prevail?
Pete Dunne, Damien Priest and Killian Dain have been going at each other for some time now. These three men have tried to gain an advantage over the other one at each turn and now it all comes to a head but with an added incentive. The winner of the match will challenge NXT Champion, Adam Cole, the very next night at Survivor Series.
With the stakes at an all-time high, who will come out on top in this rivalry?
Finn Balor's return to NXT has been incredible. Not only did the former NXT Champion make his intentions clear upon his return, he turned heel and attacked Johnny Gargano and put him on the shelf. In the past few weeks, his eyes have been set on Matt Riddle after he planted him with the 1916 on the ramp.
With Gargano out, The Original Bro stepped up and will now challenge Balor in his first match back at the Black & Gold brand.
Can Riddle silence Balor?
In the second WarGames match of the night, Tommaso Ciampa will lead Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic against The Undisputed Era. But the thing that will have the NXT Universe invested in the match is the fourth member of the Blackheart's team. As Riddle was forced to leave his spot because of his match Balor, the final place has been left open.
