This week on NXT UK fans were treated to another stacked episode that featured a lot of splendid action. Ilja Draganov returned to the ring in emphatic fashion, Rampage continued his dominance and Kenny Williams tried to get one over on his own tag team partner.
The NXT UK Women's Championship was on the line in the main event for the first time in 2021 as Kay Lee Ray took on challenger Jinny in a historic match.
Rampage Brown vs Dave Mastiff on NXT UK
The first match of the night saw a super heavyweight clash between Rampage Brown and the "Bomber" Dave Mastiff.
The two behemoths wasted no time and went after each other as soon as the bell rang. An exchange of angry lockups and huge shoulder barges took place, but both men stood tall.
Brown took the upper hand with a dropkick, but Mastiff returned the favour and took Rampage down with his own feat of agility.
Brown dodged a running attack into the turnbuckle. This allowed him to hit a huge flying clothesline followed by a nasty kick to the head and an elbow drop that drove the air out of his opponent.
Brown attempted a back body drop, but Mastiff flipped him and flattened him with a breathtaking sit out crusher to the chest. Mastiff hit a mighty pump handle suplex for the first two count of the match, but Brown recovered with a big boot for another close call in the match.
A German suplex from Mastiff sent Brown spilling out of the ring. Mastiff attempted to bring him back in with an over-the-rope suplex but couldn't lift the big man. Back in the ring, Brown hit the "Bomber" with a massive suplex and an insane Doctor Bomb to get the win on NXT UK.
Result: Rampage Brown defeated Dave Mastiff on NXT UK

Next up was an A-Kid vignette reflecting on his brilliant but unsuccessful performance against NXT UK Champion, Walter last week. A-Kid said he was proud of his performance and declared to do better next time.
Backstage Kenny Williams told his partner Amir Jordan that he had sorted a match against Tyson T-Bone, who was making his return to NXT UK.
Jordan reluctantly accepted the match while questioning his tag team partner's bizarre choice of opponent.
Ilja Dragunov vs Jack Starz on NXT UK
The next match was Ilja Dragunov against Jack Starz. This match was Dragunov’s first NXT UK match since his extreme and brutal Championship match against Walter last year.
The bell rang, and the two Superstars got into some fantastic mat-based wrestling. Starz got the advantage with a dropkick, but Dragunov fired back with a vicious headlock takeover. Starz struggled out of it, but Dragunov transitioned into a snap hiptoss for the first two-count of the match. Starz hit a sunset flip for another near fall, but Dragunov replied with an authoritative headlock takedown.
Starz hit a German suplex for two followed by an exchange of wince-inducing chops. The final chop incensed Dragunov who released a flurry of relentless offense on his opponent.
A Torpedo Moscow followed by a barrage of violent and unstoppable elbow strikes to the face of Starz caused the referee to stop the match.
Result: Ilja Dragunov beat Jack Starz on NXT UK
Grade: B
It was announced that Ben Carter is in action next week but Sam Gradwell was not impressed and called him a yogurt.
Looks like it is Carter vs Gradwell on NXT UK next week.
Amir Jordan vs Tyson T-Bone on NXT UK
The next NXT UK match of the night was Amir Jordan facing the threatening Tyson T-Bone in a bout set up by his supposed partner, Kenny Williams.
T-Bone’s power came into play from the start. A big backbreaker and a fallaway slam had Jordan reeling in the corner. T-Bone followed up with a nasty flurry of punches to Jordan’s head and neck. Jordan attempted a comeback, but T-Bone destroyed him with a bottom rope hangman.
A grinding headlock kept Jordan grounded, but a jawbreaker broke him free, and a dropkick sent T-Bone to the mat. An exchange of pinfall attempts resulted in Jordan beautifully capturing T-Bone for the win as a confused and disappointed Kenny Williams looked on.
Result: Amir Jordan defeated Tyson T-Bone on NXT UK

After the match, a brilliant vignette hyping next week's No.1 Contenders Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship was shown.
Immediately after the video, it was announced that Eddie Dennis was banned from ringside.
Kay Lee Ray vs Jinny for the NXT UK Women's Championship
Jinny entered the ring with her new assistant Joseph Conners by her side. Kay Lee Ray came in like the confident NXT UK women's champion she has been for 500 plus days.
A fierce lockup at the start showed the animosity between champion and challenger. Ray took control with an armbar, but Jinny countered with her own version of the hold. They broke free and exchanged a flurry of offense. Ray hit a front face suplex for the first two-count. Ray went up top but missed a dropkick attempt landing awkwardly on her knee.
Jinny instantly seized the advantage and exploited it with an arm drag into the corner. The action went outside where Jinny would inflict more punishment on the NXT UK Women's Champion.
Back in the ring, Jinny went for a pin, but Ray kicked out. A harsh Irish whip to Ray allowed Jinny to trash talk and lock in an innovative and painful-looking submission hold. Jinny increased her aggression with a kick and an unrelenting headlock. Jinny hit two rolling kicks, but Ray countered the third with a superkick.
Ray hit another superkick and DDT, before transitioning into the Koji clutch, which caused Jinny to fade. Seeing that the Fashionista wasn't going to tap out, Ray went for the Gory Bomb but Conners distracted her. This allowed Jinny to hit a turnbuckle-assisted facebuster which seemingly had the match won.
However, the referee saw Conners try to hold Ray’s feet down, which resulted in him being thrown out of the match. Before Conners left, he took the title, which caused Ray to leave the ring and spin him around to plant a strike to the chops. The attack allowed Jinny to grab the title.
Back in the ring, Jinny tried to hit Ray with the title, but the champion ducked and the ref took the Championship away from the Fashionista. Ray hit the Gory Bomb for the win and continued her historic NXT UK Women's Championship reign.
Result: Kay Lee Ray successfully defended the NXT UK Women's Championship against Jinny
