This week's edition of NXT UK was a big one. The show opened up with a Heritage Cup rules match, which saw Noam Dar go head-to-head with his recent Super Nova Sessions guest Nathan Frazer.

In the second match of the show, the much-hyped new faction Subculture made their debut. The group were represented by Mark Andrews, in his bout against powerhouse Levi Muir.

The headline match of this week's NXT UK had much at stake. Multiple women on the roster faced off in a gauntlet match to determine the number one contender to the NXT UK Women's Championship. Current titleholder Kay Lee Ray has been NXT UK Women's Champion for a record-breaking 620 days.

As well as this, one of the spots in the match was up for grabs following Amale's attack on Xia Brookside backstage last week.

Here are this week's NXT UK results.


NXT UK kicked off with Noam Dar vs Nathan Frazer (Heritage Cup rules match)

Tonight's edition of NXT UK kicked off with a match that was made on last week's Super Nova Sessions. The two faced off in a Heritage Cup rules match. The action in round one began with Frazer and Dar battling for control. Dar held Frazer by the wrist which he fought to escape before returning the favor to Dar.

Dar then continued to target the arm of Nathan Frazer. Frazer then took Dar down with a headlock, which Dar quickly turned into a headscissors on Frazer, and he held a tight grip on his rival between his knees. Round one ended with no winner, but Dar hit Frazer with a sneaky elbow to the face after the bell rang.

Round two of the NXT UK opener started with Noam Dar immediately taking Nathan Frazer down to the mat in a leg lock. Frazer fought his way free, and the the pair then exchanged strikes. Noam Dar then attempted a backslide, but Nathan Frazer reversed it, and then scored the first fall by rolling up his rival.

Round three kicked off with both men powering in with great momentum. Frazer quickly took down his opponent with a drop kick, followed by a shooting star press. He attempted a pin, but Dar kicked out.

Sha Samuels then arrived to support Noam Dar. As Nathan Frazer climbed to the middle rope, Noam Dar took him down with a swift kick to the ankle. He then continued to target the same leg, before hitting him across the chest with a leg strike.

Nathan Frazer then took Noam Dar down with a springboard, but as he reached the top rope, Sha Samuels caused a distraction which enabled Dar to climb up to Frazer. Frazer managed to push him away, but the bell rang to end the round just as he was about to hit Dar with more aerial offense.

Round four of this week's NXT UK opener began with a flying start - literally. Nathan Frazer immediately shot at Noam Dar with a wild dropkick. he then attempted an attack from the top rope, but missed.

Noam Dar then hit Nathan Frazer with a leg and elbow strike, before a pin attempt that was quickly kicked out of. The two men then recovered before charging at one another. Frazer attempted a roll-up on Dar, but he worked his way out before the three-count.

Nathan Frazer then hit another springboard on Noam Dar, but was caught by his legs. Dar held Frazer in a leg lock, which he tapped out of. However, Dar continued to kick Frazer after the bell rang to signify the end of the round.

The final round of the NXT UK Heritage Cup rules match began with the rivals exchanging strikes in the center of the ring. They then both attempted roll-up pinfalls on each other, but none of these worked out.

Nathan Frazer then hit a neckbreaker on Noam Dar and pinned him. However Dar kicked out again at two. Frazer was then almost sent to the outside of the NXT UK ring by Dar, but quickly recovered and looked to climb to the top rope, only to be attacked by Sha Samuels out of the referee's line of vision. Nathan Frazer then missed a springboard on Dar.

Noam Dar then capitalized on this by hitting Nathan Frazer with a Nova Roller, and took home the win in the opening bout of this week's NXT UK.

Winner: Noam Dar

Levi Muir vs Mark Andrews (and Subculture) on NXT UK

On this week's NXT UK, new faction Subculture made their debut as a trio. The group, made up of Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster and Dani Luna have been hyped up over the past few weeks on NXT UK with a series of vignettes, and on this week's show, they showed off their new entrance as a group.

In the second match of NXT UK, Mark Andrews of Subculture took on Levi Muir. Andrews quickly grabbed Muir in a headlock, but Muir threw him across the ring. Andrews attempted a roll-up on Muir, but he swiftly kicked out. Muir then went on to hit Andrews with a knee strike, but his foot was grabbed and Andrews took him down with a strike of his own.

Mark Andrews then hit Levi Muir with a standing moonsault, followed by a cover, but Muir kicked out again. Andrews came firing back with a chop to Muir's chest, followed up with a vicious uppercut. Levi Muir then picked up Mark Andrews and threw him to the mat.

As Andrews attempted to recover in the corner, Levi Muir hit him with a barrage of strikes, and then picked him up in a torture rack. Mark Andrews then hit back with a series of forearm strikes. Levi Muir then propelled the former NXT UK Tag Team Champion off the ropes and onto the mat.

Mark Andrews then went for a sunset flip but this was blocked by Levi Muir. Once again, Andrews attacked his foe with multiple forearm strikes. He then gathered more momentum and hit him with a dropkick followed up with a 619.

Andrews then came back with a suicide dive onto Muir through the ropes, before a shooting star press. Mark Andrews then pinned Levi Muir to win the match. As the match ended, Mark Andrews stood tall on the top rope and declared "this is Subculture".

NXT UK Women's Championship number one contender gauntlet match

Over the past few weeks, NXT UK has been building towards the gauntlet match, which will determine the next contender for the current NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray.

Prior to the match, Amale interrupted Sid Scala to demand that she replace Xia Brookside, who she attacked last week, in the main event. Scala refused, and told her that her next match will be against a recovered Brookside.

The first to enter the gauntlet match was Isla Dawn, followed up by Emilia McKenzie. The pair quickly locked up, and McKenzie attempted multiple roll-ups on Dawn, each of which she kicked out of. Dawn then attacked McKenzie with multiple knee strikes, and her rival fought back with a swinging neckbreaker.

Again, Isla Dawn hit back with more knee strikes, and showed off her new darker side. She continued the offense with a double knee drop on McKenzie. Dawn then hit McKenzie with a suplex. Emilia McKenzie then appeared to gather more momentum as she fought back with strikes against Dawn. She followed this up with a quick dropkick. She then speared Dawn and attempted a pin, but Dawn kicked out.

Isla Dawn then came back with a Northern Lights suplex, which she used to pin Emilia McKenzie and eliminate her.

The next entrant to the NXT UK Women's Championship number one contenders match was Dani Luna of Subculture, hoping to pick up a second win for her group.

Dani Luna fired at Isla Dawn with huge momentum, and quickly took her down with multiple suplexes around the ring. Dani Luna then attempted a pin on Isla Dawn, but she managed to kick out.

Dani Luna then charged at Isla Dawn, pushing her into the turnbuckles. She followed this up with an exploder suplex. Luna then whipped Isla Dawn into the corner, and ran at her rival. However, Dawn dove out of the way, and then capitalized by rolling up Dani Luna, causing her to be eliminated.

This week's NXT UK headline match continued, with Isla Dawn celebrating her two wins in the ring, unaware that Meiko Satomura was making her way down as the replacement of Xia Brookside.

Despite initially appearing worried, Isla Dawn quickly launched into a frenzied attack on Satomura outside the NXT UK ring. Meiko Satomura began to fight back against Isla Dawn with multiple strikes, and managed to down her in the corner of the ring. In the corner, she continued with a barrage of knee strikes.

Isla Dawn then returned to Meiko Satomura, and the pair exchanged forearm strikes in the center of the NXT UK ring. Meiko Satomura then took Isla Dawn down with a pele kick. She then pinned Dawn, who kicked out at two.

Isla Dawn hit Meiko Satomura with a suplex, followed up with a double knee. She then hit Satomura with a pin attempt, that Satomura kicked out of. She went for another double knee, but Satomura rolled away.

Meiko Satomura hit Isla Dawn with a DDT, then a shin strike to the back of the neck. She then grabbed Dawn in an armbar, which she attempted to roll out of. As Dawn fought her way out, Satomura used this to pin Isla Dawn and eliminate her from the NXT UK number one contendership match.

The final entrant was NXT UK's resident fashionista, Jinny. Joseph Conners was there at ringside to support Jinny. Jinny began by targeting Satomura's arm. She then grabbed Satomura in a headlock, which she slowly fought out of.

Meiko Satomura then grabbed Jinny in a headlock of her own, and while her opponent was trapped, she used the opportunity to squeeze in a handful of leg strikes. She then held Jinny to the mat with this, but Jinny grabbed Satomura in a headscissors.

Satmoura broke free, and began to target Jinny's legs. The pair came to stand in the center of the ring. Meiko Satomura hit Jinny with multiple leg strikes, one after the other. Eventually, this became too much for The Fashionista, as she fell down to the mat. Satmoura capitalized with a spinning roundhouse kick, and quickly grabbed Jinny in a submission. However, Jinny managed to grab onto the bottom rope to break it up.

Joseph Conners then tried to distract Meiko Satomura, who attacked him with a leg strike, before he was sent to the back. With Conners gone, Meiko Satomura hoisted Jinny up onto her shoulders, before slamming her to the mat. She then hit Jinny with a vicious scorpion kick, and then pinned her for the win.

NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray then came out to confront Meiko Satomura. She kicked her down to the mat, before holding her title up high for all to see.

Winner: Meiko Satomura
