WWE Payback is next in line of the annual pay-per-views and after the latest edition of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown being taped on Tuesday, a couple of significant matches have been scheduled for the event on 1st June in Chicago.

- Evolution vs The Shield rematch from Extreme Rules
- John Cena vs Bray Wyatt
Cena will battle Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match as it was confirmed from the TV tapings of Smackdown.
WWE is focusing mainly on the storyline of The Shield and Evolution as they will have to take the centre stage at Payback in place of Daniel Bryan who may be written off for the show.
Daniel Bryan is supposed to undergo a neck surgery and there has been no word on his recovery yet.
