What do titles mean in the WWE anyway? We’ve seen The Revival suffer this treatment, and now it's time for The IIconics to go through the same.
The IIconics are a decent tag team and the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, but if you look at their wrestling record for this year, they seem nothing more than enhancement talents.
The duo took on Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross in another losing effort this week, which was definitely a huge mistake on the part of the creatives. WWE should have allowed one of the heels to pin Nikki Cross, or let the match end in a no contest.
With consecutive losses on television, the image and the credibility of the tag team is falling fast. It seems as though The IIconics have yet to defend their championships against legitimate challengers for the sole reason of keeping the titles on them. That’s never a good sign for someone holding a title.
