#2 Cedric Alexander betrayed his allies to join forces with The Hurt Business
The Hurt Business faced the trio of Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, and Apollo Crews in a 6-man tag team match on this week's WWE RAW.
MVP's Hurt Business didn't only win this match, but they also recruited a brand new member - Cedric Alexander. MVP had been pursuing Alexander for weeks now. Despite Alexander's apparent disinterest in joining forces with the heel faction, MVP's efforts paid off when Ricochet and Apollo Crews were betrayed by their own teammate on RAW.
There was some friction between Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander backstage since this isn't the first time a babyface has tried to infiltrate the opposition in WWE.
But Alexander seemingly proved his allegiance to the Hurt Business by teaming up with the faction later in the night against Crews, Ricochet, and The Viking Raiders.
The match ended in an unusual manner as Ricochet definitely kicked out at two but The Hurt Business were crowned as the winners after that particular pinfall attempt. Ivar also hurt himself during a suicide dive attempt.
WWE booked this segment well and this change of character could do wonders for Cedric Alexander, who could potentially achieve more as a heel rather than a babyface at this moment.
