WWE Raw: 5 possible shockers for Superstar Shake-up this week

What will these two
What will these two "in the news" superstars do at the Superstar Shake-up?

With WrestleMania 35 in the history books, we are all set to see the new direction of WWE programming this week as the Superstar Shake-up will happen on both RAW and SmackDown.

If you are not familiar with the concept of Superstar Shake-up, it's like a mini-draft. SmackDown and RAW both trade some of its superstars in exchange of others. As a result, the rosters are shuffled, leading to new matchups and storylines.

The fans surely are looking forward to the Superstar Shake-up and are excited to know which brand their favorite superstars will end up. What potential swerves, twists, and shockers will WWE pull off this year?

In this article, we take a look at 5 such shockers we may get on RAW.

#5 Split the New Day

Now, this would be huge!
Now, this would be huge!

Throughout the Road to WrestleMania, the New Day were one of the biggest protagonists. Feuding pretty much directly with Vince McMahon, the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods ultimately came out victorious, with Kofi winning the WWE title at WrestleMania 35.

But what if the evil boss decides to take revenge and split the trio? With Big E possibly out with an injury, there might not be a direction for Xavier at the moment, and drafting him to RAW could work out well.

He might be the underdog to win the upcoming Money in the Bank, and carry the briefcase on RAW, teasing to cash in on the Universal Champion, before shocking everyone and cashing in on Kofi.

Things could get really interesting if this trio split!

#4 Move The Usos to RAW

Will we see SmackDown's decorated tag team come to RAW?
Will we see SmackDown's decorated tag team come to RAW?

There's no denying the fact that RAW's Tag Team division needs some serious change. The RAW Tag Team Championship is probably the worst booked title on the main roster, even worse than the United States Championship.

What it needs is a top team who can lead the division to greater heights. If The Usos show up on RAW, it would be a huge boost for the brand. Just to make things interesting, WWE should not announce them, but let them come out as a surprise and attack the current RAW Tag Champs, announcing their arrival.

#3 Move Asuka to RAW

Time to change her kingdom?
Time to change her kingdom?

The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, has been on the blue brand ever since she won the Royal Rumble last year and challenged Charlotte for the SD Women's Championship.

Having won the SD women's title last year, a move to RAW could be an interesting way to rebrand her and give her character a new direction. Asuka needs to turn back to the fierce warrior she once was, and a move to RAW could help her do that.

#2 Move AJ Styles to RAW

Will RAW become
Will RAW become "phenomenal"?

AJ Styles has been on SmackDown ever since the brand split in 2016. He has literally made SmackDown "the house that AJ Styles built". Being one of the major players of the brand, him moving to RAW would be a huge deal as RAW would be getting arguably the best wrestler on the main roster.

This could also mean that we will soon get a dream feud and match between the Phenomenal one and the Universal Champion, Seth Rollins.

#1 Sasha Banks delivers a pipebomb promo

Will we get the original
Will we get the original "Legit Boss" back?

In the past week or so, if there is one superstar who's been the focal point of all the news and media, it has to be Sasha Banks. If you are living under a rock (not Dwayne Johnson), here's an update: Sasha reportedly asked for her release from the company after losing her tag team title at WrestleMania 35.

A lot of stuff has happened since then, with social media banters, more rumors and what not. But there is still a cloud of uncertainty about her status with the company. Even after all the news outburst, WWE mentioned her in one of their recent articles - 5 moves we want to see in the Superstar Shake-up, which makes us wonder what's going on behind the curtains.

If WWE has indeed convinced her to stay, they can still use this situation to their advantage and turn Sasha into a proper heel or a protagonist by letting her cut a pipebomb sort of promo on RAW next week. WWE can even play the whole "I'll win the title and leave the company with it" storyline, as fans would love to see the Legit Boss back to her original self.

A confrontation with "The Man" Becky Lynch might also be very interesting, especially after their Twitter battle.

Which of these would surprise you the most? Which superstars do you want to change brands this week? Let us know in the comments.
