The Miz attempting a cash-in

One of the reasons for The Miz getting his Money in the Bank briefcase back could be that WWE possibly wants to further the MITB storyline. While we admit that this is the unlikeliest scenario, this could still be in the realm of possibility. The Miz won the briefcase from Otis - something we've seen 13 years before when Edge defeated an injured Mr. Kennedy to win the briefcase for the second time.

While that was due to Mr. Kennedy having a legitimate injury, this was due to creative reasons. What if WWE threw another plot twist and had someone else win the Money in the Bank briefcase from The Miz? Perhaps someone who could legitimately challenge Drew McIntyre.

The end of an alliance?

Despite winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, it's not unfair to say that John Morrison's WWE run has been a disappointment. While it was nice to see him pair with The Miz after so many years, the goofy character he has had hasn't resonated with the higher-profile roles he held outside of WWE.

Similar to how Tucker cost Otis the MITB briefcase, Morrison could cost The Miz his. It would be the start of a more serious run for Morrison and a potential push for him. It would be at the expense of The Miz, but it could also turn him babyface again.
