Of course, it is always possible that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman meant in when they said that they wanted to cash in on Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship. But Lesnar has been Universal Champion for so long, maybe he has his eyes on a different prize.
If Lesnar were to become the new WWE Champion, he would be the face of SmackDown on FOX going forward. This is a big deal because the presentation of WWE will change when it moves to the new network.
Plus, Rollins vs. Lesnar just seems like it's been done to death. Kofi Kingston and Brock Lesnar have never really feuded against one another, and hence, the content feels quite fresh.
It does seem like Kofi Kingston has not been doing anything significant at all after winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
