Roman Reigns has been WWE's golden boy for the longest time now. It's easy to forget but before his return from leukemia, the man was not getting cheered at all, really. Many felt that Roman Reigns was taking away opportunities from other, more deserving candidates like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
And there's always the chance that the WWE Universe turns on him again. And that will throw the whole storyline into disarray because Drew McIntyre is a heel, and Reigns is a babyface. WWE cannot afford to have the entire audience hijack the big match at WrestleMania 35.
By bringing in Roman Reigns' wife and kids into the equation, WWE is virtually guaranteed to have the Big Dog remain a babyface and a crowd favourite against Drew McIntyre. But then could the WWE Universe be heartless enough to boo him, despite everything? We will see.
