WWE RAW: 5 Reasons why Vince McMahon may make Baron Corbin 'King of the Ring 2019'

If you scan up and down the RAW roster, there are a lot of mid-card heels like Samoa Joe, Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, or even Drew McIntyre, but there's no main event heel just yet. I suppose AJ Styles qualifies in a way but his case is a little weird because he's such a popular figure among the 'smart fans', that even when they hate him, they don't really hate him.

In a sense, this is the reason why Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are taking each other on, in a babyface vs. babyface contest in the main event of Clash of Champions. RAW needs a heel at the top of the roster who can get the crowd to hate him and actually buy tickets to see him get beaten up mercilessly.

This man is Baron Corbin and if he does become King of the Ring and begins to boast about his accomplishments, people will pay a ransom to see him down in the dirt. In time, he could also be inserted into the Universal Championship picture in a credible manner, not in a Mixed Tag match, where the outcome was obvious.
