WWE Monday Night RAW: 5 things to watch out for

The one on the fall

The one on the fall

Just a whisker away from the Elimination Chamber, the WWE will be making their final major stop this week at Denver for Monday night Raw.

There are a lot of expectations riding on the creative due to the historical significance of the show and they will be feeling the pressure when the time finally arrives. Many things still needed to be sorted before the WrestleMania with the limbo situation of Daniel Bryan being the most notable one.

CM Punk’s absence is also something that will be questioned by the fans as they are getting tired of the hide and seek played by the writers.

Chances of the added pressure acting as a fuel for the company to change their gears are high, so let’s take a look at the top five things that we need to watch out this week.

5- New Hall of Fame inductee

Out from the clutches of hell

Out from the clutches of hell

The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lita have been already inducted to this year’s Hall of Fame. And this week we will witness another big name added to that illustrious list with Scott Hall being the top favorite.

His personal life has been a mess in the past but the guy deserves credit for getting back on track with the help of Diamond Dallas Page and his yoga.

Jake Roberts, who also found his way back into life by joining hands with DDP is already in the list which will be added encouragement for the WWE to give Hall similar recognition.

Being an integral part of many historic milestones in professional Wrestling and contributing his sweat and blood to the business makes Hall a superstar who deserves the title. And it’s going to give the fans Goosebumps once he finally gets there.

4- A Sheamus win

Momentum boost

Momentum boost

The rumor is out there in the internet about Randy Orton losing another one before heading into the chamber. And keeping his recent bookings in mind, none would take the effort of going against that rumor as well.

A win for Sheamus is pretty much etched on the concrete. This means that Orton will be further humiliated by the creative giving him no chances of getting out of the Chamber with the titles on his shoulder.

But the worst part is that, all this might turn out to be a buildup to Orton win which could set up a Batista vs. Orton WrestleMania main event that no one wants to see.

Sheamus will be the only one benefited from the situation as it gives him some momentum before the Chamber clash.

3- The Usos getting one over New Age Outlaws

Title bound

Title bound

Arguably the hottest team in the tag division, the Usos is getting their hands on the Tag Team titles sooner or later.

Their recent interactions with the New Age Outlaws suggest the latter and Elimination Chamber might prove to be the place where they get their first title shot. In WWE you don’t get anything for free making a non-title match between the teams an imminent one.

Just like how the NAOs won their title shot against the Rhodes Brothers, Usos will also going to get a win over the Degenerates in order to make them look like credible title challengers.

Even if they don’t get their hands on the NAOs this week, one thing is sure to happen: The Authority making New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos at Elimination Chamber for the Tag Team Titles.

2- Dean Ambrose Title Drop

Time to drop

Time to drop

As JBL said, Ambrose is never going to lose the US title if he ain’t going to defend it. However, this glitch from the creative was finally mentioned last week and Ambrose was forced to defend his title against Mark Henry.

Henry won the match due to disqualification but the title is still stuck with Ambrose. United States title is something that the company could use to bring up some young star instead of being wasted on a top star like Ambrose.

Since Ambrose is booked at the Elimination Chamber which makes this week the ideal one for him to drop the title.

A win for the lights of Miz, Dolph Ziggler or even pushing Sami Zayn from NXT could work well with the fans since they will be getting a champion who will actually make the title worthy of holding.

1- CM Punk Chants

CM Punk !! CM Punk !! CM Punk !!

CM Punk !! CM Punk !! CM Punk !!

How can the Raw be complete without CM Punk chants?. Though he is nowhere to be seen, the Straight Edge superstar left a big void in the roster which has been licked by the fans every week in and week out.

The company is still yet to mention his absence which leads to further frustration of the WWE Universe. Their tricks to counter the Punk chants with Bryan worked well last week, but as they say, humans know how to adapt to the situation.

With the show going to be held at Punk’s hometown soon, Vince McMahon needs to figure out some kind of master plan if he doesn’t want to witness the fans take over the matches.

And being the chaotic genius that he is, one can be relaxed knowing that McMahon is going to do something to turn the promotion upside down.
