WWE News: Kurt Angle speaks out after negative reaction his Baron Corbin announcement on RAW

What's the story?

We all knew that Kurt Angle would announce who his last opponent would be on this week's episode of RAW. A lot of fans were expecting Angle to name 16-time world champion John Cena. Instead, Angle named Corbin as his opponent and it has underwhelmed the WWE Universe.

Although Corbin vs Angle has a rich backstory, we've already seen this match before and a lot of fans have said that it does not feel like a match worthy of WrestleMania. Angle commented on the negative reaction to the match on his Instagram.

In case you didn't know...

Kurt Angle was the general manager of RAW when Baron Corbin was named commissioner by Stephanie McMahon. Corbin repeatedly undermined Angle's authority and eventually played a role in Angle getting put on leave from the position of GM.

Kurt Angle took to Instagram to pacify fans after the negative reaction to his announcement on RAW. Angle promised to make Corbin tap out and also put over the Lone Wolf in a big way at the same time. You can check out Angle's comment below:

Kurt Angle is currently on his farewell tour in WWE and will wrestle his last match at WrestleMania 35 againt Baron Corbin.
