So, we bring to you WWE RAW ‘locker room’, an article that highlights all the backstage segments on your favourite show:
Edge barged into Triple H’s office to confront him about what happened to Christian. But Triple H hid behind The Shield to cool down tempers. Edge said he wished he could be cleared so that he could take out Triple H. The C.O.O said that Edge’s neck injury will never be medically cleared, and that Toronto was Triple H’s town tonight. He asked Edge to leave the arena and also offered the Shield as escorts. A dissatisfied Edge walked away as the segment came to a halt.
2) Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel
Paul Heyman was seen backstage being helped to his feet by Curtis Axel and a referee. Heyman apparently slipped on some water that had been spilt on the backstage area. As a doctor came to check on Heyman’s knee, he refused treatment saying that he had a doctor of his own to look after things. This looks like Heyman is trying to ‘weasel out’ of the Punk vs Axel and Heyman match at Night Of Champions.
3) Booker T and Big Show
Booker T confronts Big Show backstage and tells him about how tough last week might have been for him. He talks to Show about how long they’ve known each other. He then advises Big Show to think about his family before taking any decision. He also says that he may end up like Cody Rhodes if he disobeyed the authority. He tells Big Show to swallow his pride and think about his future. Big Show says the pride is all he’s got left and vacates the scene.
4) Goldust and Triple H
Renee interviewed Goldust backstage. He said he was the screw up of the family as he misused a lot of chances the WWE gave him in the past. He also said that Cody was wise and made the most of his opportunities before taking a dig at The McMahons, who he claimed humiliated his family. Goldust then said Triple H was throwing his weight around, and that he’d beat Orton to reinstate his brother. Triple H entered the segment and spoke about the old times. He also filled Goldust’s head with a few negative thoughts before vacating the scene.
5) Stephanie McMahon and Goldust
Stephanie McMahon confronted a teary-eyed Goldust and told him about how he let everybody down. She told him about Cody Rhodes’ plight and told Goldust to join the ‘unemployment line’ like his brother. She also told Dustin to say ‘hi’ to his father on her behalf.
6) Big Show and Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon was once again confronted Big Show backstage. She told him to refrain from touching The Shield. She again cut the ‘you will lose your employment’ promo as the segment faded.
