The penultimate WWE RAW before WrestleMania 29 started with CM Punk and Paul Heyman making their way to the ring with the urn. Punk cut a promo in which he made a mockery of the urn and the Undertaker’s streak. Soon after, the gong sounded and the dead man was inside the ring. He attacked Punk which forced Punk to retreat with the urn. Punk and Heyman stood on the ramp with the urn taunting the Undertaker.
Fandango’s promo was interrupted by Chris Jericho who attacked him and forced him to exit the ring.
Match 1: Chris Jericho defeated Dolph Ziggler in a singles match. Jericho forced Ziggler to submit to his Walls of Jericho submission move.
After the match, Big E Langston attacked Jericho. Fandango came out and danced in the ring with Jericho down. He then attacked Y2J with a flying leg-drop from the top rope.
Sheamus was attacked backstage by The Shield. Randy Orton got involved and was beaten up too. The Big Show came to make the save.
Match 2: Mark Henry squashed the Usos in a handicapped match. After the match, Henry attacked them with multiple World’s Strongest Slams.
Match 3: Antonio Cesaro won the champion vs champion match against Alberto Del Rio via count-out. Jack Swagger interrupted the match to attack Ricardo Rodriguez which forced Del Rio to come to his aid. After the count-out, Del Rio attacked Cesaro with a cross-arm breaker.
Match 4: Team Hell No defeated the Prime Time Players in a tag-team match. Ziggler & Co tried to distract Bryan and Kane but were futile in their attempt.
Triple H came out and talked about his career being on the line in his match against Lesnar at WrestleMania. He said that he would kick Brock’s a** at WrestleMania.
Triple H delivered a low blow to Wade Barrett who interrupted his exit from the ring.
Match 5: The Miz defeated Wade Barrett in a singles match via submission. The figure 4 leg lock came in handy for the The Miz to get the victory.
Kane, Daniel Bryan and Kaitlyn in a backstage segment. Kaitlyn’s rant on AJ was interrupted by AJ herself and a brawl breaks out.
Match 6: The Shield defeated the team of The Great Khali, Justin Gabriel and Zack Ryder in a 6-man tag-team match. After the match, Shield delivered a triple power-bomb on Khali. Sheamus, Orton and Big Show came out to attack the Shield.
Chris Jericho announced that he will face Fandango in a match at WrestleMania 29 during a backstage interview.
Match 7: Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Brodus Clay and Tensai in a tag-team match. While the match was happening the funkadactyls and the Bellas were involved in a brawl.
Match 8: Ryback defeated 3MB in a 3-on-1 handicapped match. Ryback delivered a double shellshock to Jinder and Slater to get the pin-fall victory.
Match 9: AJ defeated the Divas Champion Kaitlyn in a singles match via countout.
Jerry Lawler announced the panelists for The Rock and John Cena discussion. Out come Booker T, Mick Foley, Dusty Rhodes and Bret Hart! Mick Foley asked Cena about the possibility of a second loss in a row. Bret Hart asked about what has changed from the bad blood last year. Then, Booker T questioned Cena why he needs to beat The Rock. Cena answered because he had to. The discussion heated up.
Dusty Rhodes asked what both of them really want at WrestleMania. Cena said that he wanted the big one and dominate The Rock. The Rock was angered by the reply and challenged Cena to face him then and there. Cena did a “You can’t see me” and went for the Attitude Adjustment. The Rock countered and hit the Rock Bottom. The show ended with The Rock on the ramp with the WWE title and John Cena down and out inside the ring.
