Seth Rollins kicked off RAW and the crowd was chanting CM Punk's name. Seth said he tried to get him there but he wants to hide in LA 'behind a desk'. The RAW roster was ringside and Seth admitted that they sucked last night. He offered anyone from RAW to speak up and called Orton the 'weak link' of the team before Randy walked out.
Rollins then addressed Charlotte and she walked out too before Rollins sent off AOP as well. One by one all the RAW Superstars left ringside and Rollins was really mad now. Kevin Owens showed up in the ring and Rollins called him Mr. NXT before yelling at him too. Owens hit a stunner on Rollins and walked out.

Backstage, Rollins was furious and challenged KO to a match.
We learned that Rusev was served with a restraining order earlier in the day from Lana and had to leave the arena.
Bobby Lashley vs. Titus O'Neil
Titus started off strong but Bobby Lashley took over but just when the match was getting heated, Rusev rushed the ring and attacked Lashley.
Rusev sent Lashley outside and into the barricades before sending him crashing into the LED boards on the stage. He cleared the announce table and was about to put Lashley through it before police officers came and handcuffed him.
Rusev still managed to push Lashley off the stage and then dropped a large part of the set right on top of him before the authorities took him away.

AOP decimated both opponents and hit them with a collider before hitting their combined finisher on Hawkins for the win.

Andrade unleashed on Tozawa right off the bat and hit some big kicks but Tozawa managed to hit a hurricanrana. Andrade hit the Hammerlock DDT and got a quick victory on Tozawa.

Matt Hardy vs. Buddy Murphy
Matt Hardy returned after many months to face Buddy Murphy. The newcomer started off big but Hardy turned things around and took control of the match. Hardy hit the side effect but Murphy hit multiple knees to Hardy's head for the win.

Murphy grabbed the mic after the match and said he was there to pick a fight with Aleister. Black came out and they started brawling in the ring before Murphy was tossed outside and he retreated soon after with a busted nose.
Charlotte was backstage and reminded us that she broke Asuka's winning streak and would beat her again if needed.
AJ Styles (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo - US Title match
The OC attacked Humberto as he was making his entrance and Gallows hit a chokeslam on the apron before they sent him into the steel steps. They hit the Magic Killer on the steel and Ricochet came out to check on him after and the match had to be called off.

Ricochet challenged AJ to a title match instead and Styles declined. Randy Orton came out next and was ready to fight AJ for the title as well.
AJ declined him saying that he beat Randy before already but then Drew McIntyre came out and since AJ had never faced him before, he wanted a shot at the title. Rey Mysterio was next and he too was in line for the title.
Ricochet suggested a Fatal Four-Way match to decide AJ's next opponent and The OC agreed that it was a good idea. AJ was furious but accepted the deal.
Ricochet vs. Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Rey Mysterio - Fatal Four-Way match
Ricochet took on Randy while Rey and McIntyre squared off at the start. Orton threw Rey on top of Ricochet and Randy teamed up with Drew and annihilated Ricochet.
Orton dropped Ricochet off the top to the outside before Drew dropped the rest of the Superstars in a combined move off the top rope. The OC interfered and took out Orton on the outside and Mysterio got the pin with an inside cradle.
Result: Rey Mysterio def. Ricochet, Randy Orton & Drew McIntyre and will face AJ Styles for the US title

AJ Styles (c) vs. Rey Mysterio - US Title match
AJ Styles went on the offensive right off the bat and knocked Rey around the ring. AJ took a big kick and was sent into the ropes for a 619 but The OC interfered and the referee sent them backstage.
Mysterio hit a hurricanrana and then reversed a Styles Clash. Mysterio got the 619 but dropped the official in the process. The OC returned and attacked Rey but Randy Orton took them out before Rey hit a 619 and Randy hit the RKO. The official recovered and Rey got the win!
Result: Rey Mysterio def. AJ Styles to become the new United States Champion

Charlotte was out next for her match with Asuka.
Charlotte vs. Asuka
Charlotte unloaded on Asuka as the match began and sent her into the barricades. Flair hit a big boot for a near fall before sending Asuka outside. Charlotte chased Kairi through the stands as we headed for commercials.
Asuka hit a German Suplex but Charlotte locked in the Boston Crab. Sane ran a distraction but was sent into the ring post before Asuka hit the Green Mist for the win.

Rowan's opponent went outside and tried to look under Rowan's secret cage. Rowan took him out swiftly by sending him into the ring posts and then hitting his finisher in the ring.

Backstage, AJ Styles was almost in tears after losing his title.
Still backstage, Lana said Rusev was a danger to everyone and himself.
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
Owens went for a stunner off the bat but missed. Seth went for a chair early on but was denied by the ref. Owens hit a Senton but Rollins got his knees up. Owens hit the frog splash and Rollins hit the Falcon Arrow.
They traded big kicks before KO hit the stunner and AOP came out to the ring. They attacked Owens and sent him into the post over and over. They then looked like they might attack Seth but instead left the ring.
Seth hit two stomps on a fallen KO before the show ended.

This was one of the best episodes of RAW this year and a new champ was crowned to everyone's surprise while Rusev's feud with Lashley reached new heights. An amazing Fatal Four-Way bout was the match of the night.
