#4. AJ Styles wants Edge or Triple H at WWE WrestleMania
There are still a few months to go until WrestleMania comes around, but the Superstars are already talking about what they want at the biggest show in the WWE.
AJ Styles spoke to Inside The Ropes and revealed who he wants to face at WrestleMania. AJ Styles named Drew McIntyre, Edge, and Triple H as the WWE Superstars on his wishlist.
While AJ Styles seemed to have been leaning heavily towards a showdown against the Rated-R Superstar, he would also love to mix things up with Triple H.
"Well, if it can't be Drew McIntyre, then give me Edge; if it can't be Edge, give me Triple H. So, there are a number of guys that are willing to step up, and it can be any one of those. I'm telling you, I want Edge. I got some payback. I don't know if you remember what happened at the Rumble. He separated my shoulder with that Spear, so it's time to get some payback."
Styles went on to talk about why he wants to face Triple H. The Phenomenal One said that he hopes to get Triple H out for a match similar to how he got the Undertaker for the Boneyard classic. Styles praised Triple H and his work in building WWE NXT.
AJ Styles doesn't know whether the WWE match would happen, but he is trying his best.
"I feel like I'd put him in a situation like I did with the Undertaker. Hey, hey, hey! So, will he accept? I don't know. But listen, these are the guys with whom I always go, 'They are great, even speaking to them. You realize their mindset to the way they approach things. Totally different than a lot of other performers.
There's a reason why he is still doing what he's doing. NXT is a brand because of Triple H. There is no question about it. So, I would love to see how that is going to work in a match with him. Will it ever happen? I don't know, but I'm trying, guys."
