#1 Original plan for Riddle after WWE WrestleMania 37

WWE's Original Bro, Riddle, is now part of an unconventional tag team with The Viper Randy Orton. The two men squared off last week with Riddle picking up a win against the former WWE Champion.

However, this week on RAW, they joined forces and went on to beat former tag team champions Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in a tag team match.

As per Fightful Select (via CSS), the original plan for former US Champion Riddle was to continue his feud with Sheamus after WrestleMania 37. The Celtic Warrior defeated Riddle for the US Championship at WrestleMania in a splendid match. CSS explained:

"That site (Fightful) also says the plan after WrestleMania 37 was for Riddle’s program with Sheamus to continue. Obviously, plans changed. “Those backstage in WWE said Orton was in favor of working with Riddle, and the changes made."

It was also reported that the decision for Orton to work with Riddle was made at the last moment, just hours before Monday Night RAW went on air.
