#2 Becky Lynch was set to face Nia Jax at MITB

Becky Lynch announced on RAW last week that she was pregnant and went on to relinquish the RAW Women's Championship handing it to the women's MITB winner - Asuka. As per Dave Meltzer of WON, the original plan was to have Becky Lynch face Nia Jax at MITB.

However, due to Lynch getting pregnant, Nia Jax was instead part of the women's MITB match which was eventually won by Asuka.

However, it was noted that Becky Lynch would have probably informed WWE about her pregnancy in early April, and the company then began to rewrite all the plans for the shows that followed.

Asuka became the new RAW Women's Champion after Becky Lynch handed over the belt to her. It will be interesting to see if WWE plan on having Asuka feud with Nia Jax next considering the company had planned Nia Jax to be Lynch's rival at MITB originally.

Becky Lynch will be out of action for the foreseeable future and WWE will have the tough task of filling The Man's absence in the women's division.
