Paige has not wrestled since the WWE MSG show in December 2017 as she had to retire for the second time due to a neck injury. However, the former Divas Champion has worked hard on fixing the recurring issues in her neck, and, as things stand, her neck 'feels wonderful.'

Paige took to Twitter and teased a potential in-ring return by posting a positive update about her neck. Here's what she tweeted out:

"Recycled pic. But.. Spent the last 2 years of my in ring career with this neck brace. 6 screws and 2 fusions later.. my neck feels wonderful. Can you let me in yet coach?"

Nothing is out of bounds in professional wrestling. Edge's miraculous return to the ring after 11 years proved that Superstars can return from career-threatening neck injuries.

Paige also took inspiration from the Rated-R Superstar's WWE comeback, as she tweeted the following after his Royal Rumble appearance.

There was a time when neck injuries could spell the end of a performer's career. However, fusion surgeries and the advancement in medicine and rehabilitation techniques have given hope to several athletes.

It all comes down to whether WWE doctors would be willing to give Paige the green signal to return. Daniel Bryan and Edge are two successful examples, so you can never rule out the possibility of seeing the 28-year-old competing in the ring again.
