One of the most unfortunate injuries to have taken over the past few years ended Jason Jordan's budding career in 2018. The former Tag Team Champion was in the midst of a major push on RAW but the untimely neck injury cut his career short.
While speaking on the Table Talk with D'Von and Mo podcast, Kurt Angle - who was also Jason Jordan's on-screen father - spoke about the original plans WWE had for him. The former WWE Champion revealed that Jordan would have become an authority figure instead of Baron Corbin.

What I believe is that Jason was probably going to continue on being my son, he was going to start being a pain in the a** to me, I probably would've hired him on as my assistant GM, he would've started making decisions for me and it would've caused a lot of animosity and then him and I would've wrestled at WrestleMania instead of Baron Corbin." Kurt Angle retired at WrestleMania 34 after losing his final match against Baron Corbin.
